Candice Hardy Makeup Artistry



  • In the event that Candice Hardy exhibits any symptoms and is unable to perform services, a replacement artist will be secured.

  • For safety and social distancing please come to your appointment on time (not early)

  • For weddings, appointments on location and group bookings, please provide a space in a secluded or a separate room if there is one available, away from the bridal party and other professionals working on the day. Each bridal party member will be asked to come individually for their makeup at their scheduled time. To maintain social distancing, observers or others present who are not having makeup on the day, will not be permitted.

  • Hands must be washed before sitting down in the makeup chair

  • I request all clients to wash their face before application. I will provide a cleanser and clean towel for this process if it is not available.

  • All tools, products and equipment will be disinfected or sterilised in line with the specific manufacturers’ instructions for your safety, in between every client and at the end of the day.

  • Candice Hardy and any makeup artist who assists Candice will use personal protective equipment (PPE) during all appointments. This may include disposable gloves and a Protective Face Mask/Visor 

  • Disposable mascara wands, lip applicators, sponges, etc are used to prevent the spread of bacteria and germs. All disposable items are bagged and safely removed between each client.

  • Eating and drinking in the makeup chair is prohibited for safety purposes.


  • Powders and liquid products are scraped onto a palette to mitigate cross contamination

  • Each client gets a new set of brushes (Dirty brushes are placed in a separate  bag and then cleaned and sanitized after the appointment)

  • Makeup station is cleaned with wipes first and then a clean towel is laid down

  • Makeup chair is wiped down/sprayed between clients. Disposable plastic capes are provided for each client

  • Hand sanitizer is used regularly throughout the application process especially if/when the artist touches other objects
